Farmers starved for hay alternatives By Mike Hixenbaugh Rocky Mount Telegram Sunday, January 27, 2008 Mark Hucks never thought he'd see the day when hay was trucked into North Carolina from Canada as a premium import. With several months of limited rainfall resulting in an increasing feed shortage, though, that day is upon him.
