Dreams and Hopes (Part II)

The question here is when the dream is achieved and all is comfortable does God look down and say: "Don't get too comfortable, I have a bigger plan for you." There is a bigger picture here. You feel like you have done a lot in your years of rescues and taking care of people, and You (I, We) have maxed out our energy trying to help. Helping not only the horses in our barn, but also baby horses else where whom would have been slaughtered without our help. We move forward at a snails pace knowing what we are doing, this is our journey. Then the year of 2007 comes along with a drought. Prices sky rocket, feed and hay is becoming more and more expensive. We have a barn full of horses that need fed two times per day and only half of our horses are boarders and help off the set the cost of feed and bedding. And then as if God says, "I am still here," it starts raining a gentle cleansing rain. I ask myself was I really questioning God and I know the answer is NEVER. But the other question is, "am I asking for help for the bigger picture?" And I say, "you bet I am." I ask every night and day for God to watch over all of us especially the innocence in all of us. Knowing what I know, I feel selfish in the fact that I ask for help every day, and then I am ashamed. I pray for only goodness and the WHITE LIGHT to protect us, to carry on the path until that day arrives and God shows us the big picture. Sleep well tonight and know that the big picture is GOOD. Thank you, Nancy
